One Ocean
One Ocean is our unique one year scholarship program for 30 students between the ages of 6-12. This comprehensive program combines Surf Therapy, Eco-Field Trips, and Mentorship modules. Bi-monthly meet ups are conducted on the weekend to encourage family participation.

Watershed Explorers
Watershed Explorers is a transformative summer program for 4th graders and their families from underserved communities, exploring local watersheds from Cuyamaca’s mountains to Cardiff State Beach. Over two weekdays for four weeks, participants will engage with nature, foster environmental stewardship, and overcome barriers to outdoor access.

After-School Program
Our after-school program uses the ocean as a powerful learning tool to teach environmental stewardship, cultural awareness, and personal growth. Integrating local Indigenous perspectives, we aim to empower students with leadership skills and foster a lifelong connection to the ocean, promoting pride, resilience, and a commitment to sustainability.

Generación SEA: Binational Youth Climate Resilience Academy
Our project builds coastal resilience in Cali-Baja by empowering youth to tackle challenges like erosion and pollution through hands-on workshops, fostering a strong connection with the ocean and inspiring environmental leadership.
Ready to apply to one of our programs?
Youth applicants should be 3/4 of the following criteria:
Local to San Diego County.
We serve students from North County San Diego by operating out of Oceanside and Encinitas Beaches.
We serve students from South County San Diego by operating out of La Jolla Shores and Coronado.
From historically marginalized communities.
Our mission is to celebrate diversity and create connection to the ocean by providing surfing and environmental education programing to serve families who may not have the resources to participate otherwise.
From a Low Income Family.
Priority given to students from families receiving federal and/or state assistance such as Section 8 Housing, Medi-Cal, and Cal-Fresh.
Appropriate age for each respective program.
